Nick Cannon’s Next Superstar Tour

Nick Cannon has embarked on a quest to identify music’s next superstars. ET took part in this mission when touring his Incredible office – home to 12 children as well!

Cannon is following in Berry Gordy’s footsteps and providing emerging artists like Symba, 24kGoldn, Hitman Holla, JD McCrary, Klondike Blonde, and POP MONEY an opportunity to shine.

Nick Cannon is embarking on a multi-city tour in partnership with Live Nation to search for America’s next superstar. Cannon will interview prominent industry members such as GRAMMY Award winner Berry Gordy of Motown Records and legendary producer Babyface during this seminar event.

Cannon will offer his expertise and mentorship to these up-and-coming artists who were selected based on their potential to break through in today’s music scene. Cannon will delve into each artist’s personal stories while providing them a platform to show off their talent – with performances by Symba, 24kGoldn, Hitman Holla, JD McCrary, Traetwothree, Klondike Blonde DW Flame, and POP MONEY all taking place on February 25 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles DW Flame and POP MONEY all taking place.

Cannon says his goal as he embarks on his journey is to ensure up-and-coming artists are ready for both sides of the music business – not only creative abilities. He told HipHopDX that too often, talent gets lost along the way when transitioning from local clubs or venues to major festivals like Coachella or Rolling Loud; “People like being able to say they saw their favorite artist at an obscure venue years before they gained national prominence; we don’t want that happening any longer!”

Cannon will be joined on stage by his Wild n Out co-stars as well as special guests such as rapper and singer-songwriter YG, who will perform tracks off his recently released mixtape Raw & B. Tia Wong Katoa, Benjamin Sumpter, and Cannon serve as executive producers for Cannon’s N’Credible Entertainment label while Angela Aguilera and Ia A. Robinson serve as executive producers on behalf of BET.

As the tour travels to 24 cities, Cannon will follow Gordy’s lead and create an environment in which audiences become the stars of every show. He will host interviews, conduct DJ sets, and bring in top producers and mixers from each city to assist up-and-coming talent with honing their production skills, as well as offering tips on navigating the business side of music production.

Nick Cannon offers something for every taste in music and comedy; seeing his live shows is the ideal way to experience both.
